Rutgers students can now get unlimited, FREE music downloads from Ruckus Network at www.ruckus.com.
Rutgers has partnered with Ruckus, Inc. to provide an unlimited, free music downloading service to all Rutgers students. Faculty and staff can also take advantage of this service for a fee.
The Ruckus music library contains over 1.6 million tracks of music!
The basic service allows you to download music for your personal use on a Windows computer. For a fee, Ruckus also offers hundreds of movie titles, many current and classic television series, and the capability to transfer songs to compatible MP3 Players.
Ruckus certifies that all downloads are virus-free, spyware-free, and adware-free.
To create a Ruckus Account:
Just go to www.ruckus.com to sign up. Click "Join Ruckus Now." Choose Rutgers from the drop down menu and sign in with your “Rutgers.edu” email address. Then download the Ruckus player and you're all set!
